Orthodontic Therapist
Emma works at our Colne practice under the prescription of Mr Matterson.
Emma is an Orthodontic Therapist (2011) currently working at Albert House. She started work as a dental nurse in 2001 and went on to achieve the National Qualification for Dental Nurses in 2004. Emma qualified in Dental Radiography (Salford University) in 2006.
In 2007 her role as a dental nurse expanded to include working as an orthodontic nurse where her interest in orthodontics began. In 2011, Emma qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist and has been working full time at Albert House Dental Practice in Colne ever since.
Emma holds competency certificates in Fluoride Application and Plaque Indices gained with Delta Dental and gained her Level 3 Award in Education and Training in 2016.
Emma is also a tutor for the Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing and Impression Taking programmes.
